New Flights with Monarch Offer Travel to Sharm el Sheikh
New travel with Monarch
Despite recent political difficulties Egypt remains a very popular holiday location for British travellers. Offering an iconic culture combined with a hot African climate, many go to the nation to explore Pyramids, Pharaohs and museums. And it has now been revealed by Monarch that they are to start new flights to Sharm el Sheikh.
Away from much of the buzz of city life, Sharm el Sheikh is a prime destination for British holidaymakers wanting to enjoy beach life. With crystal clear waters and great resorts, the area is ideal for beach lovers. In addition, there is a great range of watersports available including scuba diving, bodyboarding and windsurfing.
Starting on November 3rd Monarch will begin thrice weekly flights from both Manchester and Gatwick, with the service operating on Saturdays, Sundays and Thursdays.
Kevin George, Managing Director of the airline, said "We are delighted to be launching new scheduled flights to Sharm el Sheikh this winter, which follows hot on the heels of our announcement last month to launch flights to the resort for summer 2012." He added that from this winter the airline would be able to provide an all year service to this top location and in doing so help to move Monarch closer towards their goal of a fully scheduled portfolio.
