It has been revealed by Etihad Airways that they are to add extra flights on the route to Abu Dhabi from Manchester.

Etihad Airways has revealed that it is to increase the number of its services flying to Abu Dhabi. With the Middle Eastern destination proving particularly popular with the British public, two new daily flights will be added to the airline's Manchester route.

With demand being strong for the services, Etihad revealed that the new daily flights would strengthen business ties whilst also allowing more tourists to access travel. In addition, with Etihad providing more than 60 further connections from Abu Dhabi, the destination has become an international travel hub for many.

Andrew Harrison, Manchester airport's Managing Director, revealed "We are proud to welcome this new facility on the day that Etihad has doubled the frequency of its service. These initiatives reflect Etihad's consistent commitment to the north of England, which will enable individual travellers and local businesses to use Manchester as a convenient hub to travel throughout the world."

With many looking to holiday in the Middle East, the new services will prove very attractive, offering increased capacity and more travel choice than ever before. And with Etihad's services including amenity packs and children's entertainment for flights, the airline are going from strength to strength for customer travel.
