New Flights with BMI Offer Services to Frankfurt

BMI offers new services to Frankfurt for destinations throughout the world.

It has been revealed by popular British airline BMI that it is to offer new flights between East Midlands Airport and Frankfurt. Beginning flights at the end of October, the service will allow British travellers to gain access to Lufthansa's huge network of services to destinations throughout the world, from their hub in Frankfurt.

Starting on 31st October 2011, the new services to Frankfurt will fly thrice daily between Mondays and Fridays with an additional once daily service on Sundays. Making use of a small Embraer 145 aircraft with 49 seats, the service will allow those living in the Midlands the ideal way to travel into this important travel hub and Germany's financial centre.

Speaking of the new addition to their portfolio, Regional Business Director of BMI, Steven Griffiths, revealed "Germany has always been a popular destination and by offering direct flights from East Midlands to Frankfurt we can meet the increasing demand from business and leisure travellers. With the frequent, convenient flight times, business travellers will now be able to complete their business in Frankfurt in a day." He added that those holidaying would be able to explore the city's range of top attractions. And with Frankfurt's world famous Christmas Market starting in November, BMI's new service will be just in time to enjoy the festivities.
