Following recent data revealing that long haul destinations are becoming more affordable for those wanting to travel on winter holidays it has now been revealed that hotel prices across Europe are on the rise. However, for holidaymakers looking for competitive rates and affordable holidays, Poland, Bulgaria, Romania and Hungary are ideal spots.

Recent data collated in the Hotel Price Index indicate that many destinations across Europe, including those such as Paris, Barcelona and Brussels, have noted soaring accommodation costs. However, Eastern Europe remains affordable for those wanting to take advantage of cheap hotels.
