Celebrity Chef Dishes Brought to American Airlines
American Airlines to bring new dishes on flight
It has been revealed that American Airlines have brought new dishes to their menu. The cuisine, which has been inspired by celebrity chefs Richard Sandoval and Marcus Samuelsson, started being offered on October 1st and provides an upgrade to the in-flight menu options.
With airlines facing stiff competition, any extra luxuries aboard are often seen as a major attraction over other companies, with menus being particularly important. Celebrity chef Sandoval, who was 2006's 'Restaurateur of the Year', specialises in Latin cuisine, with modern techniques combined with traditional Mexican flavours. Chayote salad with a citrus sauce, lemon grass marinated chicken breast and halibut with truffle corn salsa will all appear on the new American Airlines entrée menu, offering passengers the chance to dine on top quality cuisine when flying premium class on international services.
Marcus Samuelsson meanwhile will offer domestic passengers travelling for over two hours the opportunity to enjoy a breakfast sandwich with smoked turkey breast, and a turkey breast sandwich with cranberry ginger chutney and apple slices. With food being an important ingredient to luxury travel, the new menu options will be welcomed. And for those flying in premium classes, the chance to sample celebrity cuisine will be a very attractive addition.
