Luxury Hotel Opens in Baton Rouge
opening of Marriott's Renaissance Baton Rouge luxury hotel
The highly anticipated opening of Marriott's Renaissance Baton Rouge Hotel has taken place. Opened on 10th October, the luxury accommodation option offers travellers 256 high quality and chic rooms to stay in and is the first Baton Rouge based full service hotel to open in over two decades.
Baton Rouge, the capital of the state of Louisiana, has a high demand for flights not least to allow tourists to enjoy the city's Mardi Gras. This new hotel offering from Marriot will ensure that those visiting the city have somewhere stylish and luxurious to stay, with Louisiana born artist CC Lockwood's artwork gracing the walls and a regional twist to the décor.
Including 63 hotel suites, the 256 rooms have flat screen televisions, double beds and iPod docking stations. Meanwhile, a fitness centre, outdoor pool with fire and water features, ballroom and eight meeting rooms are also available for those staying at the hotel. General Manager, Peter Dunn, said "We are creating a one-of-a-kind Renaissance experience that engages the senses the moment you walk through our entrance doors. Our 4-diamond amenities, our charismatic staff and our surrounding community beckon guests to see, taste and experience all that Renaissance has to offer." All of which mean that for those visiting the area, the new Marriot is the perfect place to stay.
