Qatar Offers New Flights to Oslo
Qatar Airways have started new flights to Oslo in Norway
For business passengers jetting between Europe and the Middle East, it will be welcome news that Qatar Airways have started new flights to Oslo in Norway. Offering direct services to the Scandinavian city, the Gulf carrier will provide passengers with an ideal route for returning to Europe following business in Doha.
Qatar Airways is the only airline in the Gulf to offer Scandinavian destinations, with the operator also providing services to Copenhagen and Stockholm. With business booming in the Middle East, especially Doha, British and other European travellers needing an expanded network of flights throughout European countries will welcome the new service.
Flying five times per week, the services began on October 5th and depart Doha on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Sundays and Tuesdays. Speaking about the latest addition to their portfolio, Qatar Airways' chief executive, Akbar Al Baker, said "We look forward to bringing visitors from around the world to this diverse cultural city (Oslo) and to the great leisure and business destinations in the region. Norway has limitless attractions of mountains and fjords, a great magnet for tourists from around the world to experience and enjoy." He added that with the airline's network of connections, travel through Europe and the Middle East was hassle-free with Qatar Airways.
