New Flights with Monarch Offer Barcelona Breaks
Barcelona Breaks
Monarch has started new flights to Barcelona, allowing those travelling from Gatwick Airport to fly directly to one of the Spain's most vibrant cities. Having started on 21st October, flights are initially offered on a daily basis before they increase to 11 services a week from 30th October.
A beautiful city, Barcelona sits on the Spanish coastline offering holidaymakers the chance to experience both culture and sun worshipping on the same trip. The new service means that those wanting to head abroad for some winter sun will have an additional choice for a quick getaway.
Monarch Airline's managing director, Kevin George, said "Barcelona is one of the UK's most popular short break destinations and we are delighted to be adding this to our route network from London Gatwick in addition to our existing flights from Manchester." He added that, in addition to the new cheap fares and great service, customers would benefit from the 'build your own class' option which allows passengers to customise their flight by pre-ordering meals and purchasing extra leg room. So with the popularity of the destination and the quality of the service, the new flights are set to see high demand.
