Glasgow Flights with EasyJet Offer Flights to Amsterdam
easyJet Flights to Amsterdam From Glasgow
Low cost airline easyJet has revealed its 15th route to fly out of Glasgow, providing residents with the ideal option for travelling to Amsterdam. With Scottish airports looking to increase their portfolio of airlines and services, the new addition to Glasgow will be welcomed by all.
Operating six daily flights from Glasgow to Amsterdam throughout the winter, there will be an ideal opportunity for residents in one of Britain's coldest winter locations to take a warmer weekend away. At the end of March the service will decrease to one daily flight for the rest of the year, providing an ongoing service to the popular location.
Talking of the decision to implement the new route, easyJet's commercial manager for Scottish operations, Hugh Aitken, said "2011 has been an incredible year for easyJet in Scotland. The launch of our first flight from Glasgow to Amsterdam represents a fantastic milestone and is testament to the drive and energy of all those involved."
It was also revealed that additional Glasgow to London flights are to be implemented, offering a wider choice of commuting possibilities for business travellers. With the new route and added capacity, Glasgow Airport's managing director, Amanda McMillan, said that easyJet continued to show strong commitment to offering Scottish individuals the best choice of travel services and routes.
