New dining choice with Virgin Atlantic

Popular airline Virgin Atlantic has revealed new dining choice for its Economy Class passengers. As part of a £100m investment project, the new dining options will have a restaurant ambiance, with a welcome cocktail and a rotating dessert menu.

Once aircraft have reached cruising height, passengers will be offered their welcome cocktail with a blend of fruit juices and additional vodka if they prefer. Meals will be offered in small non-slip trays, so as to offer as much eating space as possible. Meanwhile, the dessert menu will be rotated through the year to offer as much choice as possible for frequent flyers, whilst those flying in the evening will benefit from a hot chocolate option in addition to tea and coffee.

Speaking of the new dining experience, Virgin Atlantic's Head of Customer Experience, Paul Sands, said "We have a passionate team of food experts, hospitality managers and designers who have put every single aspect of our meals service under the microscope and our goal was to make sure that any ideas we came up with made our passengers' journey even better than it was before."

With lights dimmed for the movie entertainment and attendants offering popcorn and ice cream, extra embellishment to in-flight services are greatened even more. With the new attractive services, Virgin Atlantic is set to remain a consumer favourite.
