Hotel Price Drops for Moscow Market
Moscow hotels set to drop due to construction
It has been revealed that prices for hotels in Moscow are set to drop as construction brings more accommodation options for tourists and businesspeople. Whilst prices in the Russian capital have been deemed to be Europe's second most expensive, the future is set to see costs fall.
Moscow, and Russia as a whole, is gaining a presence on the tourist scene, with many explorers who want something a little different flocking to see the iconic sights of Red Square and the Kremlin. However, staying in the city can be expensive, with the average cost of rooms per night set at £124.
In 2011 three new hotels have opened, with a further four due to launch by the end of the year. Meanwhile, 14 hotels are set to open in Moscow's thriving city centre in 2012, offering space for even more guests and increasing competition. This is the driving force behind expert predictions that prices are due to fall further. With 535 hotels set for Moscow by 2020, offering 150,000 guests perfect accommodation, visits to the Russian capital are expected to drop in price and allow more choice for leisure and business visitors than ever before.
