New Flights with British Airways for Italy
New Flights For Italy With British Airways
Popular airline British Airways (BA) has revealed that it is to launch a new route to Italy, offering visitors the chance to fly to Bologna. Starting from April 2012, the new service will be accompanied by increased flights from Heathrow to popular destinations.
BA already offers flights to Bologna from its Gatwick Airport base, but in the spring of 2012 will offer an additional route from Heathrow. Providing customers with more choice over which port to utilise, flights will debut on 29th April and offer the ideal travel for those wanting to explore this favourite Italian destination.
In addition to revealing the new Heathrow based route, BA also said that flights to Brussels, Rome, Amsterdam and Barcelona would also be increased in number to cope with the traditional summer holiday peak travelling times.
The airline continues to implement new flights in addition to new services aboard aircraft as part of its £5bn investment project. Over the next five years lounges and cabins will be refurbished in addition to spending on new aircraft. Having had a three-month trial of utilising iPads to enable crew to offer a better in-flight experience, BA will be rolling out over 2,000 of the units in the coming weeks to make customer service even better than before.
