British Airways (BA) has always been a popular airline with UK residents, remaining a renowned and iconic brand with which to fly.  The airline is likely to have been made even more popular with the accolade of Best Airline in 2011, offered by the influential Business Traveller magazine.

Having also won the title of Best Short Haul Airline and Best Frequent Flyer Programme confirms that British Airways remain a popular choice with the travel press.  However with the Best Airline award being voted for by the readership of the magazine adds even greater weight to the award.

One of British Airways key moves to improve customer satisfaction is the revamp of the airline's Club World Business and First Class services.  Business seats change into comfortable beds and, with memory foam headrests and soft mattresses, passengers can get the great night's sleep on-board.  Additionally, a screen also provides extra privacy - a feature that can be activated at the mere touch of a button.

With British Airways receiving the top award and having revamped their premium passenger services, they are likely to see increased custom from both Economy and Business travellers, allowing them to remain at the top of the rankings for global airlines.
