New Flights to Iceland with EasyJet
EasyJet to offer a new Icelandic route from March
It has been revealed by budget airline easyJet that they are to offer a new Icelandic route from March 2012. Making its debut on 27th March, the Luton to Reykjavik route will provide the perfect way for those in London to access an alternative flight to this popular destination.
Operating three times a week, flights will make their way to Iceland on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Flights will be accessible and cheap for travellers, allowing easyJet to entice those wanting to explore Reykjavik and beyond for a holiday that is a little different to the traditional Mediterranean retreat of sun and sand.
Talking of the latest route for the largest airline in Britain, the UK director of easyJet, Paul Simmons, explained "It is hugely exciting to be able to offer easyJet flights to Iceland for the very first time. Our new route will not only be attractive for business travellers, but also for those looking for culture-rich city breaks or adventurous travellers looking for unrivalled scenery and activities."
With snow-topped mountains, a vibrant nightlife and iconic spas and natural springs, Iceland is a great destination for those wanting to get away from life and relax a little. With easyJet's latest offering, travel to this inspiring place will be more affordable than ever.
