New Venice and Rome Flights with Monarch
New flights to Rome and Venice from Monarch airlines in 2012
Monarch Airlines have revealed that they are to offer new flights to Rome and Venice in 2012. Offering the routes for their summer schedule, the new services will come as part of a 14 new flight expansion to Greece, Italy and Croatia.
Starting in summer 2012, new flights to Rome will be implemented from London Luton and Birmingham, with the latter airport also gaining new services to Milan, Venice, Dubrovnik and Heraklion. Manchester, meanwhile, will host new flights to Venice, Verona, Milan and Dubrovnik, whilst London Gatwick will have flights to Milan, Venice, Heraklion and Dubrovnik.
Talking of the plan to expand over the coming years, Monarch Airlines Managing Director, Kevin George, said "Adding Italy to our network will further reinforce our position as the leading leisure-focused airline serving the Mediterranean and the Canaries. The addition of two new aircraft to the fleet is great news and marks the start of our fleet expansion plans, which will see the fleet grow from 30 to around 40 aircraft in the medium term."
With holidays remaining a top priority for British individuals despite the economy, new flights are always welcomed. With Monarch offering new services from a range of airports, they can expect to see high demand.
