Best Destinations for Spring Honeymoons
Caption: Destinations For Spring Honeymoons
Those opting for spring weddings may need a little help with the honeymoon destination. Many popular destinations in Europe may not be suitable weather-wise, but there are plenty of warmer climes to head to around the world.
Destinations that are closer to the equator can often be the solution. The Maldives is a luxury option and there are plenty of flights to Mauritius available. Both destinations offer resorts that cater for those needing tranquillity and to travel in spring is one of the most cost-effective times of the year.
Heading in the other direction, the Caribbean also has a great deal to offer honeymooning couples. The smaller islands in particular are very popular for the tranquillity that they offer. St Kitts has everything that newlyweds might need. Scuba diving, cruising on a catamaran and more than 200 historical sites await visitors to the island.
Seclusion can also be found in Trinidad and Tobago, in the south of the Caribbean region. There are few big resorts there but they still have the amazing beaches and clean clear waters that are enjoyed by their neighbours. The culture of the islands is one of many reasons to visit the region, and there is plenty of nightlife to be found.
Travelling a little further again, South Africa has many safari packages that are ideal for the honeymoon with a difference. Attractions include Victoria Falls, the vibrant city of Cape Town, cable car rides up to Table Mountain and swimming with sharks.
