Changes to BA Flights to Moscow
More style added to Moscow flights from British Airways
With Russia rapidly becoming a popular tourist destination, there have been some changes in how some airlines operate their flights. British Airways flights, for example, to Moscow's Domodedovo Airport will no longer be shorthaul aircraft. These only offer two cabins, while the longhaul aircraft that they are being replaced with offer four cabins, meaning that passengers can fly in greater comfort. These changes are due to take place in March 2012 and bookings on these flights can be made now.
Moscow has plenty of tourist attractions and places such as the Kremlin and Red Square are a must. These have played an important role in the history of the country and there are plenty of museums nearby to visit. St Basil's Cathedral is located in Red Square and dates back to the 16th century. The design of the building is very distinctive and most people will recognise it from news reports, even if they cannot name it.
Cultural attractions in the city also include the Bolshoi Theatre. This theatre dates back to the early part of the 19th century and there are ballet or opera shows staged almost every night between September and May. The Bolshoi Ballet company is famous the whole world over and the opportunity to see them perform should not be missed.
