Middle Eastern Destinations Ideal Cheap Spring Getaway
Middle east still a holiday destination
With the political unrest of 2011 making many Middle Eastern destinations unsafe to visit, places such as Egypt and Tunisia fell off the tourist map. However, with these concerns having now waned, many locations are keen to see returning tourist numbers and have altered their pricing appropriately. This means that British individuals looking for the ideal spring getaway can now find many top spots, such as Cairo or Djerba, are far more affordable than they may think.
Egypt is a very popular tourist location, with the Red Sea's Sharm el Sheik catering to those who want to holiday by the beach, and Cairo offering the ideal hub for those wanting pyramids and mummies. Meanwhile, Tunisia's political climate has also settled, with the country keen to attract tourists. Desert spas, stunning coastlines and surprising tropical forests can be found in this attractive country, offering the ideal jaunt for the spring.
As with many holidays, visiting the Foreign Office's guidelines on travel to specific places is often vital to ensure that destinations are safe. Many people willing to be amongst the first returning tourists to these countries will find cheap prices, great hotel deals and few queues to enter iconic locations, such as the Valley of the Kings.
