Croatia Set for Top Holiday Success
Croatia becoming more and more popular to British holiday makers
Croatia continues to become an increasingly attractive holiday destination for British holidaymakers. With a beautiful coastline, more airlines offering flights to Dubrovnik and Split, and a multitude of new sights and experiences to discover, 2012 is set to see the nation's popularity grow even more.
Laying on one of Europe's most stunning coastlines, Croatia includes over 1,000km of reefs and islands, and an impressive 6,000km of shorefront. Split and Dubrovnik have seen tourism expand immensely over the past decade, with resorts offering every facility holidaymakers could wish for, from spas and fitness centres to beach loungers and cocktail evenings. Meanwhile, with the coast offering warm waters and a hot climate, water sports such as scuba diving and boating are very accessible.
Much of Croatia remains free of crowds, however, and for those wanting a holiday that is a little more secluded, many islands and fishing villages are isolated from the buzz of town life. This makes sailing through these locations a particular pleasure, with the Dalmatian Coast ideal for skippering a yacht and indulging in open waters. For those who want an exciting getaway with a great climate, dramatic scenery and as much seclusion as is wished for, Croatia is a top spot.
