A newly developed international marathon event scheduled for August in Londrina.

There is a new addition to the calendar of major international road running events, which the president of the Sports Foundation of London (FEL) expects, will become the one of the most important road running events in Brazil.

The London Marathon will be run in August of each year through the streets of the beautiful city of Londrina, a destination located in the prosperous southern state of Parana, Brazil. The event has been carefully planned to allow participation by some of the top runners in the racing world, and the course will incorporate some of the major locations in the city.

Planned events include, in addition to the full marathon race, a half marathon race and a five-kilometre race. According to the event coordinator of the FEL, international marathon events of this kind are known to attract large numbers of entrants from all over the world. Members of the city’s administration and the FEL are confident that this event will stimulate interest in the area as an ideal holiday destination.
