The city of Oran is Algeria’s second largest city and is situated on the north coast. The city contains one million inhabitants, with up to two million more in the surrounding region itself. With its new popularity, investment in tourism is earmarked for the Petit Lac area of Oran. Algeria’s second largest lake is to be developed as a recreational area to include water sports, hotels, and other leisure attractions.

The year round warm climate and the short flight time of just over two hours from Heathrow puts Oran firmly on the map. With overseas investment rising steadily and Oran expanding consistently, this Algerian gem on the Mediterranean coast is becoming a firm contender for business.
