By offering more summer flights aimed at leisure travellers, it plans to introduce the charms of Romania to a much larger audience. Its residents come from a diverse range of ethnic backgrounds, including strong Serbian, Hungarian and German communities. The city is home to the Festivalul Plai, which takes place every September and celebrates its multicultural nature, along with its vibrant music and artistic scene.
Timişoara is the central hub for the airline’s connections to destinations around Europe, including sophisticated and trendy Athens. Greece's largest city is already widely appreciated as a tourist destination, combining an ancient history with stylish modern social and cultural life. Flights between Athens and Timişoara operate on Thursdays and Saturdays during the summer season, which runs from July to September.
