The annual Kiev International Festival of Fire takes place in Kiev in June each year. During the four days of the festival there are exciting shows and traditional European street festivals in the streets of Kiev, which is an interesting holiday destination.
Spectators are able to see top quality fire shows and enjoy performances by the best fire theatres and teams from all over the world, including Bulgaria, France, Finland, Germany, Ireland and America. There are circus acts and drama presentations with fire photo competitions, circus fairs, and drum and fire schools, all of which take place in the open air.
The Kiev International Festival of Fire offers performers the chance to attend workshops run by masters of fire entertainment and be able to show off both an individual and a team performance.
The opening ceremony at this destination is in the form of a street parade on the first evening with over 500 taking part. The participants include stilt performers, jugglers and fire jugglers, dancers and acrobats. The second day of the festival has several shows running at the same time and circus performers amuse visitors whilst others attend a fire juggling master class. There are also shows from breakdancers, freestylers and drum artists.
Kiev Zhulany Airport is one of the two airports serving the city of Kiev in the Ukraine. It is much the smaller of the two and is not the main international airport, that being Boryspil. Flights arrive here from Russian and European cities.
