The Szczecin Sea Festival Has Something For Everyone

Szczecin may be unpronounceable (actually, if you say something like 'Stetchin', that comes fairly close) but it is a destination of choice for many people during the second week of June when the annual Szczecin Sea Festival takes place. This festival celebrates all things maritime and it really is a fabulous chance to see how the Polish people have fun.

The festival has a long history but every year has a different theme, challenging the organisers to come up with new ideas to keep it fresh for its many repeat visitors. There are many constants however and these form the backbone to the festival.
