Airline Alliances

An airline alliance is an agreement between airlines to cooperate on a substantial level. The three largest passenger alliances are the Star Alliance, SkyTeam and Oneworld.

Alliances provide a network of connectivity and convenience for international passengers through codeshare agreements, allowing a larger range of destinations to be served, and can also allow loyalty programs to be shared across different carriers.
