Swiss Airlines fly out of 4 major UK airports and Dublin into major airports in Europe, America, the near, middle and far east and Africa
Swiss International Airlines, the country’s national carrier, has increased its services between Basel and the UK. This expansion has come about thanks to a strengthening of its collaboration with its UK based partner, BMI. The new schedule features multiple daily flights, including three weekday flights and two each day during the weekend, from London Heathrow, as well as daily flights from Manchester. This will more than double the existing service between the UK and Basel, which will be operated by BMI.
This new agreement comes at a time of vast expansion for the Swiss flag carrier, particularly at EuroAirport Basel. More destinations have been added and the frequency of flights has been increased on existing routes. Thanks to its collaboration with BMI and other partners in the Star Alliance, Swiss has access to a vast network of routes and destinations across Europe and beyond. Swiss and its Star Alliance partners operate 196 of the daily flights in and out of EuroAirport Basel, which accounts for the vast majority of traffic at the airport.
